ZF and Beiben cooperates
(chinatrucks.com, Oct 13, 2010) At the moment, China leading heavy duty truck manufacturer, Beiben heavy truck and ZF have signed an agreement at IAA exhibition show. Both parties plan to establish a JV Company in Baotou to produce rear axle overhang system of heavy duty truck.
Beiben heavy truck plans to introduce new generation heavy truck to China market in next two years in accordance with the agreement. ZF is ready to produce overall set rear axle overhang system in China in order to satisfy the China market demands. Therefore, ZF is to further explore products scope by the introduction of truck rear axle overhang system. Heavy duty truck produced by Beiben will be equipped with steel panel spring or air motivated spring rear axle overhang system provided by ZF satisfying with European quality standard.
Beiben heavy truck is the famous brand of Baotou Beiben heavy duty auto company limited, which is established in 1996, and the headquarter is located in Baotou. Three manufacturing bases in China have produced 35,000 heavy duty commercial vehicles in 2009.
