ZF to establish China area in 2011
(chinatrucks.com, Nov 2, 2010) As the China market position has been raised, one of the global three large transmission manufactures, ZF will extract China region out of Asia Pacific area. The individual China area, Asia Pacific area and North America Area an South America Area will report to the headquarter paralleling.
It is learned by reporter from the vice president of ZF Transmission Technology Company Limited, Zhangyi Dai that, China area headquarter of ZF will be established in Shanghai, and it will be established at Jan in 2011. There are more than 120 production bases, 6 R&D centers in the world of ZF at the moment, and the main business field of ZF are transmission and driving system. Since ZF has come into China in 1984, the production bases in China of ZF have surpassed 20, and the R&D center has been set up in Shanghai. ZF has cooperated with Foton, Shanghai Auto, Chery and other auto manufacturers.
“China market has taken more than 20% market shares of ZF global business at the moment”, quotes by vice president, Zhangyi Dai. It is learned that the senior management person will be selected from Asia Pacific area. Asia Pacific area will be responsible for the business of Australia, South East Asia, and Japan.
