Cummins to establish filtering system plant in Turkey
(chinatrucks.com, Dec 16, 2010) It is reported by comprehensive media that America Power Equipment manufacturer, Cummins, will establish a new plant in Turkey since the beginning of 2011. The initial investment of Cummins at this area is 70 million Dollars.
Cummins plans to establish a filtering system plant in Turkey firstly, and the alternating current generator plant will be established later. It is predicted by Cummins that it will initial the production at the beginning of 2012 and more than 800 workers will be recruited within 5 years.
Cummins decides to establish a new plant in Turkey after it has visited and investigated 20 spots from Asia, Africa and Europe. The new plant in Turkey will form the supplement to the production and logistics of France, Belgium, and Europe. More than 85% of Cummins products produced in Turkey will be exported to Middle East, Africa and Asia.
