Cummins establishes large Europe area organ structure
(chinatrucks.com, Dec 22, 2010) At the moment, Cummins announces that it will restructure the distribution area of European area to establish large European distribution department. The original four areas shall be divided to be the whole assets distribution area within 16 countries, which refer to British Cummins, Cummins Middle Sea area, Cummins Scandinavia Island, Cummins Middle Europe area, and these areas will be unified together and managed as a whole.
The restructure plan shall initiate at Jan of 2011, and it will end by the end of 2012. There are 21 important measures shall be taken during the period. Each item shall be suitable for Cummins to improve the performance in broader European market. The restructure plan has been originated from a Cummins strategic performance evaluation result.
The plan has adopted the suggestions and ideas of Cummins customers, staff, market high management, and other relative people. It decides to concentrate the resources and strength to establish a large distribution management organ in European area. It will allocate European business, and increase management efficiency, and save the cost. It aims to improve the overall customer service level and service capacity and improve customer satisfaction and increase the competition strength of Cummins at European market.
