Sichuan Nanjun Sets JV with Hyundai
www.chinatrucks.com: It is learned from Chinatruck.org that Sichuan Nanjun and Hyundai sign agreement in Chengdu on April 28. Each of them invested 0.9 billion Yuan to build Sichuan Hyundai Auto Company.
They will invest 3.6 billion Yuan in the first phase to produce 150,000 vehicles and 12L engines. They will make use of their advantages to produce world class commercial vehicles, and then they will also produce electric vehicles, CNG vehicles etc. They plan to make 200,000 Hyundai commercial vehicles in 2013, 400,000 units in 2017 and 700,000 units in 2020.
