Chinese Truck Makers Aim at Long term Prosperity in Overseas Markets
www.chinatrucks.com : The exporting of trucks in China hit record high in 2012. as the auto industry keeps developing, more and more vehicle makers are engaged in the exporting business. The volume and type of trucks exported is on the rise. The problem for the industry is hwo to avoid all the risks in the business.

As the GM of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle said, the risks of exporting includes market factors, also includes those concerning global economic development as well different values in different countries.
Although China is exporting ever more vehicles, the situation is far from perfect. Chinese vehicles gain market share because of low pricing, which impress local customers as cheap vehicles. So, if the Chinese vehicle makers aim to gain even more market shares, they need to promote products’ quality, providing better services, so to change the old impression they left for local customers.

The GM also said when entering a foreign market, the vehicle maker need to detect possible risks and try to avoid them. We should pursue long term prosperity.
Products’ quality is the key of all. Although Chinese vehicle makers are gaining a certain amount of shares, but the product quality does not match that of vehicle makers from other countries. Only by improving products’ quality, can Chinese vehicle makers develop better.

The cooperation with Volvo helps promotes the status of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle in the international markets. He said the cooperation includes partnership in suppliers, manufacturing resources, marketing. The both companies pledges to deepen the relationship.
