FAW TRUCKS Secures Orders for 1,640 Trucks During Latin America Market Tour
FAW TRUCKS has strengthened its presence in Latin America after securing orders for 1,640 vehicles during a recent market tour led by Chairman Li Sheng.
The delegation visited several key markets across the region, including Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Chile. Leng Changchun, General Manager of Jiefang International, accompanied the visit.
During the trip, company executives met with strategic partners, dealers and customers to review market performance, assess business opportunities and discuss plans for future growth. The meetings focused on expanding cooperation, improving market coverage and enhancing customer support across the region.
FAW TRUCKS also held a dealer conference for partners from Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. Discussions covered market expansion strategies, product development and after-sales service capabilities aimed at supporting the company's long-term growth in South America.

A series of partnership agreements and vehicle orders were signed during the visit, resulting in total orders for 1,640 units. The agreements further strengthen FAW TRUCKS's position in one of its fastest-growing overseas markets.
The company also reviewed the performance of its regional operations and met with local teams responsible for supporting customers and business development across Latin America.
"Latin America remains a key growth market for FAW TRUCKS's global business," Li said. "We will continue to strengthen our local operations, improve service capabilities and work closely with our partners to expand our presence across the region."
Local dealers and business partners highlighted FAW TRUCKS's product reliability, mature technology and strong market competitiveness. They expressed confidence in the brand's future development and reaffirmed their commitment to expanding its footprint throughout Latin America.
Latin America has become an increasingly important market for FAW TRUCKS as the company accelerates its international expansion. In recent years, the company has strengthened cooperation with major dealer groups and global strategic partners, helping drive rapid overseas growth.
FAW TRUCKS's export sales have recorded a compound annual growth rate of 57.6%, while its overseas dealer network has expanded to three times its previous size.
From January to May 2026, the company reported a 67.9% year-on-year increase in export sales. Sales in Latin America rose 103.4% compared with the same period last year, making the region one of FAW TRUCKS's strongest-performing overseas markets.
