990,000 Trucks Sold from Jan to April

www.chinatrucks.com: 275522 trucks were produced in China in April, and the production from Jan to April were 1034009 units, down 21.5% over last year, and 277334 trucks were sold in April, and the whole sales from Jan to April were 990025 units, down 19.8% over last year. And Beiqi Foton sold 167583 trucks, ranking the first, down 25.0% over last year, and among the top 15 truck makers, sales of Lifan saw the largest decreasing, down 24.7% over last year, and they sold 28298 trucks from Jan to April.

 
52681 heavy trucks were produced in April in China, and the total production volumes from Jan to April were 207570 units, down 39.1% over lats year, and 58707 heavy trucks were sold in April, and the total sales volumes were 193326, down 33.3% over last year. And Dongfeng sold 43384 heavy trucks, ranking the first, down 24.4% over last year. And all but GAC Hino saw sales declining among the top 15 heavy truck makers.

 
14964 medium trucks were produced in April in China and the total production volumes were 66639 units from Jan to April, down 42.8% over last year, and 17773 medium trucks were sold, and total sales volumes of medium trucks were 62958 units, down 32.6% over last year. Dongfeng sold 18328 units, ranking the first, down 25.1% over last year, and sales of Dayun Auto saw the biggest growth, and they sold 2437 units, up 100% over last year.

 
159764 light trucks were produced in April in China, and the total production were 584095, down 13.8% over last year, and 156228 light trucks were sold, and the total sales were 558552 units, down 14.9% over last year. Beiqi Foton sold 10445 units, ranking the first, down 24.1% over last year. And Sinotruk sold 22444 light trucks, up over 200% over last year.
