Truck Alliance is the only winner from China and one of the two winners with two awards globally.

With 12 years of history, the FT/IFC Transformational Business Awards is regarded as the "Academy Awards" in the global emerging markets business world, focusing on awarding global initiatives that highlight ground-breaking and commercially viable solutions to today's development challenges.
For 2017, the Awards paid special attention to products and services that harness disruptive technologies and business models to achieve their sustainability objectives, and received a total of 148 entries from 152 organizations involving projects in more than 84 countries. The Awards were consisted of several categories, including "Achievement in Transformational Infrastructure", "Achievement in Transformational Finance", "Achievement in Sustainable Development", "Excellence in Disruptive Technologies Overall Awards","Excellence in Climate Solutions Overall Awards", etc., with the aim to recognize, showcase and reward innovation, impact, replicability, financial viability and sustainability across a number of key development sectors around the globe.
The award "Achievement in Transformational Infrastructure", received by Truck Alliance, highlights projects that address the most crucial infrastructure needs in developing economies, with long-term socio-economic impact. The award also focuses on initiatives that are environmentally conscious and help efforts to fight climate change and improve land governance. The judging panel recognized Truck Alliance for its commitment to build the virtual infrastructure for China's road logistics sector, and its achievement in constructing the online freight-truck matching platform that effectively improves the traditional fragmented and inefficient industry, while helping reducing the empty load rates and fuel waste across China.
The other award, "Excellence in Disruptive Technologies Overall Award", recognizes the short-listed initiative that stands apart across all private sector categories for its ground-breaking use of new technology and the strength of its disruptive approach to markets and business models. Truck Alliance stood out among all contestants and won the award with its innovative freight-truck matching platform, and its far-reaching truck services platform that connects numerous users with various vendors through the internet.
Truck Alliance, China's largest road logistics platform, has established the only nationwide online freight information portal in China. Based on the internet technology and the concept of a sharing economy, Truck Alliance is committed to improve the low-efficient and fragmented traditional logistics industry in China, provide effective and accurate freight-truck matching platform to truckers and shippers, and offer comprehensive services to users.
The "Achievement in Transformational Infrastructure" and "Excellence in Disruptive Technologies Overall Award"highlighted the recognitions of Truck Alliance's long-term efforts and achievements.
