Great Wall Motor's Intelligent Factory to Start Operation
Great Wall Motors’ brand new intelligent factory, the fifth one of the company, located in Chongqing, has almost finished its construction and is soon to start operation. According to the company, the new factory will produce the company’s new passenger pickup model, commercial pickup model and SUV pickup.
The new passenger pickup is equipped with a number of state-of-art technologies, including 8AT transmission gearbox, ACC, long-distance start-up by remote control, intelligent voice control system, fuel monitoring system,
With an unprecedented level of automation, the new factory is set to usher in a brand new era for intelligent production. Apart from its current factories in Baoding, Xushui, Tianjin, Chongqing and Russia, Great Wall Motors also plans to build intelligent factories in Zhangjiagang, Rizhao and Pinghu.
