SINOTRUK's 3000th Heavy Truck Rolled off the Assembly Line in Uzbekistan

On September 6, the 3000th SINOTRUK heavy-duty truck rolled off the assembly in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.

In 2020, Sinotruk began setting up the joint venture -- UZ TRUCK AND BUS MOTORS, with its partners in Uzbekistan with an initial investment of more than €10.78 million.

The company now offers a broad range of products including heavy, medium and light-duty trucks and buses. With the introduction of advanced technology, the company is capable of producing up to 3000 units per year in a single shift to meet the needs in Uzbekistan and neighbouring countries.

"Samarkand is the main node city along the Belt and Road. In addtion to Uzbekistan, the products from the factory we can be exported or sold to neighbouring countries such as Kazakhstan and Tajikistan." said Zhao Hua, SINOTRUK's business director of CIS countries.
