WEICHAI NECV Secures 36-Month COP Certification in Vietnam
WEICHAI New Energy Commercial Vehicles Successfully Obtains 36-Month COP Certification in Vietnam
Recently, WEICHAI New Energy Commercial Vehicles Co., Ltd. has officially passed Vietnam’s Conformity of Production (COP) assessment and obtained a 36-month COP certificate issued by the Vietnam Register. This certification marks a key milestone in the company’s compliance development in the Vietnamese market, with its quality management system and product consistency formally recognized by the Vietnamese authorities.

Key Certification Secured for Market Entry in Vietnam
According to Circular No. 54/2024/TT-BGTVT issued by Vietnam’s Ministry of Transport, COP certification is a mandatory requirement for motor vehicles and automotive components to enter the Vietnamese market. The vehicles certified under the LANDKING brand are WEICHAI New Energy Commercial Vehicles’ overseas high-end products, manufactured at the Laiyang Economic Development Zone production base in Yantai, Shandong Province. This certification confirms that the entire production line’s quality management system fully complies with Vietnam’s market access standards.
With a validity period of 36 months, the certificate provides long-term compliance assurance for the continuous entry of LANDKING products into the Vietnamese market.

Quality at the Core, Systems as the Foundation
The core principle of Vietnam’s COP certification lies in “conformity of production.” It not only evaluates whether an individual product meets regulatory requirements, but also ensures that all products manufactured on an ongoing basis consistently maintain the same high-quality standards. Through this rigorous assessment, WEICHAI New Energy Commercial Vehicles’ production management system, quality control capabilities, and technical compliance standards have been officially recognized by the Vietnamese authorities.
This certification serves not only as an affirmation of product quality, but also as a strong validation of the company’s overall quality management system. WEICHAI New Energy Commercial Vehicles remains committed to high standards and strict requirements, leveraging a systematic approach to quality management to ensure that its products comply with technical regulations and meet market demands.
Professional Expertise Driving Certification Success
Every successful international certification relies on the dedication of a professional team. WEICHAI New Energy Commercial Vehicles’ achievement of Vietnam’s COP certification was made possible through the joint efforts of the overseas certification team and multiple supporting departments. In response to Vietnam’s strict market access requirements, the team initiated compliance planning six months in advance, thoroughly studying Circular No. 54/2024/TT-BGTVT and systematically aligning technical standards, documentation, and processes to ensure smooth entry into the Vietnamese market.
This certification represents not only a market entry credential, but also a testament to the team’s professional expertise and collaborative strength. Looking ahead, the overseas certification team will continue to advance market access certifications in other international markets with the same high level of professionalism, providing solid support for WEICHAI New Energy Commercial Vehicles’ global expansion.
