124 LANDKING Trucks Exported to Chile, Accelerating Global Expansion
On February 7, 2025, shortly after the Chinese New Year, WEICHAI NECV kicked off the year with a great success in its overseas markets—successful export of 124 LANDKING trucks to South America. Departing from Qingdao Port in Shandong, China, these vehicles are destined for San Antonio Port in Chile. This shipment not only marks another milestone for the LANDKING brand in Chile but also further solidifies WEICHAI NECV’s presence in South America, accelerating its global expansion.

The shipment includes two models: the LANDKING R series mini trucks and H series light-duty trucks, each tailored to meet different market needs and transportation tasks.
R Series Fuel-Powered Mini Truck: The LANDKING R Series is positioned as a high-end mini truck platform. It integrates design resources from WEICHAI Powertrain Research Center and Tokyo Innovation Center, and is built based on Suzuki's latest 11th-generation Carry model. The R Series features a sleek design, spacious interior, high load capacity, and excellent maneuverability. It is known for its outstanding road adaptability and high load-bearing capacity. The LANDKING R Series can easily travel through busy city streets as well as complex rural roads, offering an ideal solution for businesses seeking efficient, eco-friendly transport options.

The H Series Fuel-Powered Light Truck: The LANDKING H Series light truck features the exclusive "Golden Powertrain," an exemplary combination of a WEICHAI engine, FAST transmission, and HANDE axle. Offering a power range of 110-170 horsepower, it delivers not only robust performance but also exceptional maneuverability. The cornerstone of its outstanding performance lies in the technical advantages of the Golden Powertrain. This powertrain, meticulously developed and finely calibrated by WEICHAI Powertrain Research Center in collaboration with the Tokyo Innovation Center, ensures seamless coordination and optimal performance of every component. By deeply optimizing the power system, the Golden Powertrain achieves a perfect balance of strong power output, low fuel consumption, high transmission efficiency, and extended maintenance intervals, providing solid technical support for the all-around performance of the LANDKING H Series.

Since entering Chile in 2024, WEICHAI NECV has focused on combining technological innovation with market demand to continuously enhance the global competitiveness of its products. With the shipment of these vehicles, the company will deepen its cooperation with the local market, expand its brand influence, and strengthen its leading position in the South American market.

Looking ahead, WEICHAI NECV will focus on customized development for global markets, promoting the localized application of intelligent and electrified logistics solutions. With reliable product quality and comprehensive after-sales service, the company aims to help more international customers to achieve greener, more efficient logistics transportation, contributing to the sustainable development of the global economy.
