WEICHAI LANDKING Showcases Multiple NEV Trucks at Shandong Clean Energy Expo
WEICHAI LANDKING, a leading brand in new energy commercial vehicles, unveiled multiple latest trucks at the 2025 Shandong Clean Energy Industry Expo. The event, held from September 15 to 17 at the Yantai Bajiaowan International Convention and Exhibition Center, brought together industry leaders to explore innovations in green energy and sustainable mobility.
This year’s expo, themed “Green Innovation, Collaborative Breakthroughs, Driving a Zero-Carbon Future,” highlighted key trends such as solid-state batteries, high-power motors, and the industrialization of new power systems. Against the backdrop of China’s “dual carbon” goals, the country’s commercial vehicle industry is undergoing rapid transformation. In the first half of 2025 alone, new energy light trucks achieved a 20% penetration rate, underscoring the accelerating shift toward electrification.
Multiple Models Showcased for Diverse Applications
At the exhibition, WEICHAI LANDKING introduced a full lineup of electric and hydrogen-powered trucks, designed to meet the needs of urban delivery, intercity transport, heavy-duty operations, and mountain logistics:
X7 – Designed for metropolitan logistics, the X7 continues WEICHAI LANDKING’s high-quality DNA with industry-leading Stellar all-electric powertrain. Battery options range from 140 kWh to 200 kWh, providing long-range capability. The showcased 156 kWh model features a high-power e-drive axle, a 165 kW motor (optionally a 185 kW dual-speed motor, delivering up to 510 N·m of torque), offering strong low-speed climbing and efficient high-speed performance. The 2,120 mm-wide cab—the widest in its class—ensures maximum driver comfort. Advanced safety features include standard AEB with dual warning system and optional 360-degree surround view, enhancing overall driving safety.
EH – Built for intercity transport, the EH features WEICHAI’s proprietary all-electric “golden” powertrain, including a 135 kWh mid-mounted battery, INOVANCE integrated controller, and HanDe 6-ton e-drive axle. An optional 200 kW Bosch motor delivers up to 510 N·m of torque, allowing the truck to handle steep inclines and start efficiently on slopes. With a 1,660 mm wide track, the vehicle provides stability and payload capacity for heavy materials, including steel and boards. Its long-range capability makes it ideal for demanding intercity transport operations.
EH Hydrogen Fuel Truck – Powered by WEICHAI’s fuel cell system with a 520L side-mounted hydrogen tank, offering long range, zero emissions, and preserving full cargo space.
X1 Mini Truck – 56kWh battery and integrated drive system, compact enough for 2-meter parking garages, ideal for last-mile delivery.
WEICHAI LANDKING’s multi-energy portfolio delivers clear advantages in cost and efficiency. Real-world operations show that its electric trucks reduce per-kilometer operating costs by more than 70% compared with diesel models. For fleets running 50,000 km per year, this equates to annual savings of over 40,000 RMB. With a lifetime Findream battery warranty and a comprehensive after-sales network, customers can count on reliable performance and worry-free ownership.
By advancing a multi-energy strategy and offering a complete product range, WEICHAI LANDKING is not only expanding its own market presence but also providing practical solutions for the green transition of commercial vehicle industry in China and around the world.
