SUPERPANTHER Recognized as a Trusted Chinese Truck Brand for Overseas Markets
Beijing, China, Jan 23, 2026/Chinatrucks.org/ — SUPERPANTHER, a Chinese manufacturer of new energy heavy-duty trucks, has been named the “2026 Chinese Brand with a Trusted Innovative Ecosystem Model for Overseas Markets” at the 11th Discover Trust Awards ceremony held in Beijing.
The award recognizes Chinese companies that have demonstrated sustained progress in overseas markets and the ability to build long-term trust through stable operations and scalable business models. SUPERPANTHER was selected based on its recent advances in Europe and its approach to global expansion beyond traditional vehicle exports.

China’s exports of new energy heavy-duty trucks rose sharply in 2025, with total shipments exceeding 300,000 units for the first time. Europe, where regulatory requirements are among the world’s strictest and competition is intense, has become a key testing ground for Chinese commercial vehicle makers seeking to move up the value chain.
Against this backdrop, SUPERPANTHER has pursued a different overseas strategy, combining technology cooperation, local manufacturing and ecosystem development. The company says this approach has enabled it to achieve initial commercial and operational breakthroughs in the European market.
In June 2025, SUPERPANTHER unveiled its 2025–2030 “Dual-Track Empowerment” global strategy, positioning itself as an enabler rather than a pure vehicle exporter. The strategy advances two parallel tracks: industrial empowerment, through localized manufacturing and service systems, and product empowerment, through cooperation with global OEM partners on core systems and platform-based solutions.

The company says this model has helped it integrate more effectively into Europe’s local industrial landscape and make progress in regulatory compliance, market adaptation and service readiness.
On the product side, SUPERPANTHER introduced the eTOPAS 600, a battery-electric heavy-duty truck developed specifically for European operating conditions, in 2025. The vehicle is based on fully in-house developed core technologies and localized design, and has passed long-distance road testing and Germany-standard vehicle certification.
The eTOPAS 600 is equipped with four self-developed core systems, including a dual-motor electric drive axle, an 800V high-voltage platform, an intelligent energy flow management system and a vehicle-wide thermal management system. According to test data released by the company, the truck recorded energy consumption of 121 kWh per 100 kilometers under complex road conditions. It supports 400 kW fast charging commonly used in Europe, allowing charging from 20% to 80% in about one hour with a single charger, or less than 38 minutes with dual charging.
The vehicle’s exterior design and cab configuration were adapted to European user preferences, with a focus on safety and ease of operation. German industry publication VerkehrsRundschau described the truck’s overall design as “highly European.”
Before its official market launch, SUPERPANTHER said the eTOPAS 600 had secured pre-orders for several hundred units from major European logistics and retail groups, indicating early market acceptance in the region.
Beyond vehicle development, the company has focused on building a supporting ecosystem in Europe. Through partnerships, SUPERPANTHER has established a network covering manufacturing, certification, after-sales service and charging infrastructure. In 2024, it announced a cooperation with Austria-based Steyr Automotive to jointly produce the eTOPAS 600, combining Chinese technology with European manufacturing. The first small batch was completed in December 2025.
During 2025, the company also worked with TÜV Nord on vehicle certification, joined the Alltrucks service network to provide Europe-wide after-sales support, and partnered with ELMI Power on charging solutions. In addition, it launched a dedicated service app and fleet management system to provide lifecycle services for European customers.
In January 2026, SUPERPANTHER obtained a World Manufacturer Identifier (WMI) code in Germany, granting it internationally recognized vehicle manufacturer status. The company said this confirms that its R&D systems, manufacturing capabilities and quality management meet global automotive standards.
The company also completed several hundred million yuan in strategic financing and was listed in the “2025 China Emerging Future Unicorns” ranking, strengthening its financial base for overseas expansion.
SUPERPANTHER said its overseas approach has supported its own growth while contributing to a 60% year-on-year increase in new energy commercial vehicle exports in related regions in 2025. Industry observers see the model as an example of how Chinese commercial vehicle companies are shifting from volume-driven exports to value-oriented global expansion.
The award marks a milestone in SUPERPANTHER Technology’s overseas development. As its dual-track strategy is rolled out in additional markets, the company is expected to play a broader role in the global transition toward low-carbon commercial transportation.
