JMC Ships First Batch of 40 Electric Vans to the Philippines
JMC has shipped its first batch of 40 Touring electric vans to the Philippines, marking the company's first large-scale delivery of electric vehicles to the country.
The shipment comes as demand for new energy commercial vehicles continues to rise across Southeast Asia. In the Philippines, growing interest in cost-efficient and environmentally friendly transportation solutions is creating new opportunities for electric vehicle adoption.
To address this demand, JMC and its local partner reached an agreement on bulk purchases of the Touring EV models. The order represents a step forward in JMC's efforts to expand its presence in the Philippine new energy commercial vehicle market.
The Touring electric van is designed for urban logistics and commercial transportation applications. By introducing its electric vehicle lineup to the Philippines, JMC aims to provide local customers with practical and efficient mobility solutions while supporting the country's transition toward greener transportation.
The Philippines has emerged as one of the promising markets for electric commercial vehicles in Southeast Asia, driven by increasing attention to operating efficiency, sustainability, and fleet modernization. JMC sees the market as an important part of its international growth strategy.
As it continues to expand its global footprint, JMC plans to strengthen cooperation with overseas partners and enhance its product and service offerings for international customers. The company expects its growing portfolio of new energy vehicles to support future expansion in more overseas markets.
