WEICHAI LANDKING LKE7 Showcased at 2026 SDHI Global Partners Conference
The 2026 Shandong Heavy Industry Group Global Partners Conference was held in Hanoi, Vietnam, from July 21 to 22, bringing together partners, dealers and industry representatives from around the world. At the event, WEICHAI New Energy Commercial Vehicle (WEICHAI LANDKING) displayed its latest new energy commercial vehicles. The LKE7 electric light truck was among the highlights, with overseas partners taking a closer look at its features and applications.
Designed for global markets, the LKE7 is a 6–12 ton (GVW) electric light truck built for urban delivery, retail logistics and cold chain transportation. Built on WEICHAI’s dedicated EV platform and backed by the Group’s global R&D and manufacturing capabilities, the truck delivers strong performance, longer range and efficient charging to support greener logistics operations.

The LKE7 is equipped with WEICHAI FinDreams Blade Batteries, available in 96.2 kWh and 131.98 kWh versions. With a centrally mounted liquid-cooled battery system, efficient electric drive system and intelligent thermal management technology, the truck delivers strong power performance, longer range and improved operating efficiency. It supports up to 1.3C fast charging, with a 20%–80% charge taking just 30 minutes. This helps meet the demands of high-frequency logistics operations while reducing total operating costs.

The LKE7 is designed to deliver both efficient operation and a comfortable driving experience. It features a flat-floor cabin, smart cockpit, 360-degree camera system and voice control, helping drivers operate more comfortably and efficiently.

The LKE7 also features L2+ intelligent driving assistance, automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control. Together with its high-strength body structure, these features provide enhanced safety for urban delivery and other demanding logistics scenarios.

In recent years, WEICHAI LANDKING has expanded its global presence with a new energy commercial vehicle portfolio covering 2.5–18 ton segments, including mini trucks, light trucks and medium-duty trucks. The LKE7’s debut at the conference reflects the company’s approach of developing products based on real-world logistics needs and driven by technology innovation. Backed by WEICHAI Group’s global R&D, supply chain and service resources, WEICHAI LANDKING continues to strengthen its overseas presence and localized support capabilities.

The LKE7 further increased WEICHAI LANDKING’s visibility in Vietnam and Southeast Asia through the Global Partners Conference. Going forward, WEICHAI LANDKING will continue developing new energy commercial vehicles for global markets, helping customers improve TCO and supporting greener logistics.
