JAC Kunpeng ET9 Wins Brand Innovation Award at China Automotive Supply Chain Conference
JAC’s Kunpeng ET9 launch campaign won a Brand Innovation Award at the 2026 China Automotive Supply Chain Conference, held in Kaifeng from October 19 to 21. The event was organized by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
The award recognizes JAC’s efforts to build the brand of the Kunpeng ET9, a premium new energy light truck designed for urban logistics.
Building Brand Awareness Through Long-Term Marketing
JAC has promoted the Kunpeng ET9 through a range of marketing activities. The model has received several industry honors, including “Urban Logistics Pioneer” from China Automotive News, “2025–2026 Truck Brothers Recommended Product,” and “Innovative and Efficient Battery-Electric Light Truck,” an award based on feedback from transport operators.
The Kunpeng ET9 was also featured in Anhui Television’s Spring Festival Gala, helping introduce the model to a wider audience.
Using Customer Stories to Promote the Product

JAC has expanded its marketing approach beyond company-led promotion by encouraging more customer participation. The company shares stories from actual vehicle owners and combines professionally produced content (PGC) with user-generated content (UGC) to show how the truck performs in daily operations.
By highlighting real customer experiences, JAC aims to communicate the vehicle’s value more clearly and encourage owners to share their feedback. This approach helps build brand awareness through customer recommendations and word of mouth.
The Brand Innovation Award recognizes JAC’s work in launch planning, marketing and brand development for the Kunpeng ET9.
JAC plans to continue developing its new energy commercial vehicle business, with a focus on technology, service improvements and brand building. The company aims to provide transport solutions that better meet logistics needs and support the development of the automotive supply chain and logistics industry.
