Tatra 815-790R74 Truck Rolls Out to the Market

www.chinatrucks.com: After the delivery of 16x8 special chassis, a new Tatra truck with 12x6 chassis, specially designed for a German company rolls out to the market. Redesigned to the customer's requirements, namely, the truck must be low in body height, but should claim a loading capacity of 45 tons. In addition, the truck only needs a maximum speed of 25 km/h.

In order to reduce its body height, Tatra adopts TATRA FORCE series cockpit for military trucks. Because of this, Tatra 815-790R74 bears much resemblance to Tatra 815-7. Also worth mentioning is the adoption of TATRA T3C-928.90 air-cooled engine with an nominal power of 300 kilowatts and a torque of 2100 N·m. It is mounted with Allison 6-speed automatic gearbox. The truck   weighs up to 66 tons when fully loaded. Measuring 13.7 meters in length, 2.55 meters in width and 2.035 meters in height, Tatra 815-790R74 truck has a turning diameter of 25 meters. With its chassis weighing 15.72 tons, the truck's cockpit is also equipped with independent heating and air-conditioning systems. Currently, the truck meets Euro III emission standards.
