“Fukang Cup” Super Power Technological Elites Grand Prix Competition Held in Beijing

www.chinatrucks.com: The “Fukang Cup” Super Power Technological Elites Grand Prix Competition started in Beijing on January, 19, 216. The competition lasted three days. Totally 61 persons including Foton Cummins service engineers, Foton Daimler engine service engineers and the technological workers of end service station which was elected by a series of skill competitions in 2015 attended this competition.

Elites Challenge Elites in “Fukang Cup” Elites Competition

Ma Ji, the Foton Cummins customer support director, and Sang Xincheng, the leader of Foton Daimler engine service department delivered speeches in the opening ceremony respectively. They introduced the great achievements which Foton Cummins and Foton Daimler made in 2015, and hope that both parties can strengthen the cooperation and make greater achievements in 2016. Meanwhile they highlighted that the implementation of China V Emission Standards will become the great opportunity which Foton Daimler and Foton Cummins make great achievements. So the competition was aimed at testing the preparation for 2016 and they had made good preparation for it.

The test was divided into three parts including technology argument, theory test and driving practice to test the technology and theory of testees in this competition. The written scores takes up 20% of the final scores, technology argument and driving practice 40% respectively. The written examination was aimed at testing the service engineers’ master of basic knowledge including the structure and maintenance of engine, and the solution system, testing their theory level, strengthening their knowledge storage. So that those elites can provide training for their colleagues and the technological workers of end service station, and help them to improve their qualifications.

Zhangyan, the engineer of Foton Cummins from Hunan Province gave high affirmation to this competition. He said “This competition provided a good opportunity of mutual learning and communication for us. The testing circumstance, the test papers and the various difficulties encountered in testing were very real. It seemed that we were investigate the problems beside users. It was also a test of our own abilities. More importantly, I made many new friends. We can discuss the problems in work and overcome them together”.

Service Symposium Summarized Work and Looking to Future

The second Beijing Foton Cummins Engine Co. Ltd. service symposium themed with “Heart Service, Core Value, New Experience” was also held with the same time of the competition. Zhan Zhenjing, the secretary of Beijing Foton Cummins Engine Co. Ltd. said, “Foton Cummins made striking achievements of 28% growth in the slumped economic circumstance in 2015, and will make greater achievements.

   
The time of implementing the China V Emission Standards is coming hurriedly. The China V Emission Standards of vehicles will be carried out first in 11 provinces in Eastern China on April, 1, 2016., and in the whole country on January, 1, 2017. The enhancement of emission standards will promote the change and escalation of technology, and higher requirements will be put forwarded for service technological workers. The “Fukang Cup” Super Power Technological Elites Grand Prix Competition was held in the right time when the era of China V Emission Standards is coming. It also acted as a practice of China V Emission Standards in advance.
