Unimog Caravan Truck Debuts in 12th China(Beijing) International RV& Camping Exhibition
www.chinatrucks.com: The 12th China(Beijing) International RV& Camping Exhibition was held in Fangshan District, Beijing City during March 24th—27th, 2016. A Yutong off-road caravan truck which is refit from Mercedes Benz Unimog U4000 chassis debut strikingly during the exhibition. It attracted great attention of room-vehicle.
The King of Off-road Trucks Challenge the Extreme Conditions
The Unimog caravan truck refit from Benz truck has great refitting flexibility and excellent off-road performance. It is widely used in various fields including fire fighting, rescuing, prospection and supplying, etc.
This Yutong off-road caravan truck is refit from Unimog U4000 special-purpose off-road chassis. It is equipped with 4x4 driving system, OM924LA engine with maximum torque of 80Nm. This provides strong power support for the off road and slope climbing of the truck.
Gantry axle guarantees that the truck can have ultra high distance from road of 476 mm when it is crossing barriers. And the height it can crossing reaches 000mm, which makes the maneuverbility of the truck is greatly improved.
It is equipped with goose neck box-type deforming beam and welded tubular beams as well as torsional vice beam. The torque range when the truck is crossing barriers can as high as 30%.
Safe and Reliable Enjoy Off Road
All of wheels are equipped with disc brake, ABS braking system, loading sensor braking system and spring energy-storage type rear wheel parking brake system to guarantee the truck has excellent braking performance, and comprehensively guarantee the driving safety of the truck.
The truck is equipped with 8 forward gears and 6 backward gears. The transmission is coordinated with integrated auxiliary box. Besides, it has intelligent gear-changing system and quick fore and rear gears changing system. Those, to the greatest extent, increases the convenience of changing gears. Meanwhile, it provides multiple choices when the truck is driving in complex road conditions.
The strong strength fore anti-collision beam, anti-rolling frame in the cockpit and the protective steel board at the truck end can effectively improve the safety level of the truck.

The Unimog off-road caravan truck integrates comfort, convenience, safety and reliability together. It is equipped with 600W solar-energy charging system on the truck roof. It can increase the charging source for the truck to makes it more suitable for the outdoors caravan environment.
