WeRide to Trial Run Its Driveless Road Sweeper in Singapore by End of 2024

On June 20, 2024, WeRide, a global leader in autonomous driving technology, announced a collaboration with Chye Thiam Maintenance (CTM), a renowned sanitation company in Singapore, to advance the commercial deployment of WeRide's autonomous sanitation vehicles ("WeRide Sanitation Vehicles") in Singapore. The initial batch of WeRide Sanitation Vehicles has successfully arrived in Singapore and began safety testing, with plans to start trial run on public road by the end of 2024.

Additionally, the WeRide Sanitation Vehicle operates on pure electric drive, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by nearly 10,000 kilograms per month on average.
