Foton Launches New Electric and Medium-Duty Trucks in Singapore
Singapore – 6 Jan. 2026/Chinatrucks.org/ –Foton Motor has launched its all-electric light truck, the eMiler, and the new-generation Auman D Series medium-duty truck in Singapore, as part of its efforts to expand its presence in Southeast Asia and advance regional electrification.
The launch event attracted nearly 300 guests from the logistics, transportation and related industries. During the event, both models were officially unveiled, and the first batch of vehicles was delivered to customers. Attendees were able to view the vehicles through static displays and participate in test drives, gaining firsthand experience of their performance, features and design.

The two models were developed to address local market needs. The eMiler electric light truck is designed for last-mile delivery and urban logistics. It features a lightweight structure, compact dimensions and a driving range of more than 200 kilometers, making it suitable for dense urban operating environments. As a zero-emission vehicle, it aligns with the region’s growing focus on cleaner and lower-carbon transport solutions.
The Auman D Series is positioned for medium- and long-haul logistics applications. The truck is designed to balance power performance, vehicle weight and driving comfort. It offers competitive payload capacity and fuel efficiency, while its spacious, ergonomically designed cab is intended to improve driver comfort and operational efficiency.
According to Foton, the Singapore launch helped strengthen its market presence in Southeast Asia by demonstrating product reliability and technical capability to customers in Singapore and neighboring markets. The company said the event generated strong customer interest and resulted in multiple orders, with positive market feedback continuing after the launch.

Foton has also completed product certification and regulatory compliance preparations in line with local environmental policies. These steps are expected to support the company’s readiness for stricter regulations anticipated from 2026 onward. In parallel, Foton is working with local partners to expand its sales and service network across the region.
The Singapore launch reflects Foton’s broader international expansion and new energy vehicle strategy, as the company continues to develop products tailored to different regional markets and logistics needs.
