China's First 900km Electric Trunk Line Begins Operation
At the beginning of the month, China's first single-route electric transport trunk line with a distance exceeding 900 kilometers officially launched, spanning Tianjin, Beijing, Hebei, and Inner Mongolia. 100 units of the Sany Flat Top 350 Charging Edition trucks were deployed on this trunk line to accelerate high-quality green development.
The pioneering trunk line features 12 energy replenishment points along its route and dedicated service centers in Tianjin, Zhuozhou, Zhangjiakou, and Zhurihe, among others. Each point maintains an average spare parts inventory exceeding 150,000 RMB, with two terminal stations boasting reserves exceeding 350,000 RMB. This setup establishes a cost-effective network for new energy heavy-duty truck transport, crucially closing the manganese recycling loop in the customer's economic chain, essential for steel production.
"Manganese is vital for high-quality steel production" Widely utilized across industries such as steel, non-ferrous metallurgy, batteries, and chemicals, manganese underscores the critical importance of this electrified transport trunk line. This electrified transport trunk line signifies a key green pathway facilitating the region's low-carbon transformation.
The enterprise leader expressed satisfaction with fleet operations: "Establishing an electric logistics route for long-distance heavy-duty trucks is challenging. However, Sany's robust product performance, after-sales service, and spare parts availability reassure us and streamline operations. Electric transition represents just the beginning of our collaboration. We look forward to exploring deep partnerships in autonomous driving."
Currently, the fleet has achieved a 100% attendance rate over the past week, with an impressive energy consumption rate as low as 1.14 kWh/km. This achievement significantly reduces energy costs for enterprises while enhancing transport efficiency.
