Sany Signs Strategic Deal with South Korea’s Daewoo Construction
Recently, Sany International Development Co., Ltd. and South Korea's Daewoo Construction signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Changsha to strengthen their partnership in international engineering construction.
During the signing ceremony, CHO CHUL-GI, Senior Vice President of Daewoo Construction, and Li Qin, Vice President of Sany Group, attended and witnessed the agreement. LEE HAKJOO, Head of Daewoo Construction's Engineering Equipment Department, and Gao Yang, Assistant to the President of Sany Heavy Industry and General Manager of the Major Customer Marketing Company, signed on behalf of their companies. Other leaders, including Zhou Difei, Assistant to the President of Sany Group and General Manager of the Beijing Branch, also participated.
Under the agreement, both parties will enhance cooperation in engineering machinery supply and new energy sectors, aiming for mutual benefits and common development.
At the meeting, Li Qin warmly welcomed the South Korean delegation on behalf of Sany, introducing Sany's history, business sectors, and strategic management approach. He highlighted Daewoo Construction's global reputation and emphasized this milestone in Sany's global strategy by supplying equipment for Daewoo's West Africa project. Sany reaffirmed its commitment to delivering high-quality products and services to enhance global competitiveness.
CHO CHUL-GI, Senior Vice President of Daewoo Construction, expressed a positive view of Chinese manufacturing during the visit to Sany. He praised Sany's advanced manufacturing capabilities and expressed confidence in utilizing their equipment for global projects.
Before the meeting, Daewoo Construction conducted equipment inspections for their West Africa project with leaders from Sany's Major Customer Marketing Company, Beijing Branch, and Pump Road Business Unit.
