LANDKING Opens First Flagship Store in Saudi Arabia, Enters Middle East
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – 10 Dec. 2025/Chinatrucks.org/ – On December 9, 2025, LANDKING officially opened its first flagship store in Riyadh, marking its official entry into the Middle East market. This launch represents the brand’s first major step in the region and a key milestone in its global expansion. As LANDKING expands its global sales network, it aims to bring new momentum to smart logistics and green transportation along Belt and Road markets.
In recent years, the Middle East has seen fast growth in logistics and infrastructure. Saudi Arabia has become one of the most competitive markets for commercial vehicle brands. By opening a flagship store in Riyadh, LANDKING can stay closer to local customers, react faster in sales and services, and build a strong base for further growth across Saudi Arabia and nearby Gulf countries.
To deepen its presence in Saudi Arabia, LANDKING worked with a leading local partner to build the flagship store. The store offers full vehicle sales, test-drive services, spare parts supply, and after-sales support. With support from WEICHAI Group’s core component technologies and its global supply chain and service network, both sides will combine global manufacturing strength with local market insights to create a more reliable and efficient service system for Saudi customers.

The main model introduced to Saudi Arabia is the LANDKING H-series light truck. It is built on WEICHAI NECV’s core commercial vehicle technologies and equipped with the “Golden Powertrain” — the WP3NQ160 engine, a FAST 6-speed gearbox, and a HanDe maintenance-free rear axle. With a transmission efficiency of over 96% and a peak torque of 480 N·m, the H-series is engineered to handle heavy loads, desert terrain, and other demanding operating conditions common in the region.

To meet the challenges of high temperatures, sand, and long-distance operations typical in the Middle East, the H-series features several targeted upgrades. The engine uses a high-temperature turbo system and smart thermal management to keep strong performance even in temperatures close to 60°C. The truck also features a dust-proof body structure tested in sand-wind tunnels, reducing the risk of sand entering the vehicle. Its telematics system can monitor vehicle power status in real time, improving safety and reliability on long-haul routes.
In terms of load capability, the H-series incorporates reinforced chassis, suspension, and power output systems designed to meet local usage patterns. The model maintains stable performance under heavy loads and rough conditions, making it suitable for applications such as construction materials transport and urban distribution. Local logistics companies that conducted test drives noted that the truck performs better than similar products in power response, stability, and fuel consumption.

Supported by WEICHAI Group’s global network across more than 150 countries and nearly 3,000 service locations, LANDKING brings not only vehicles to the Middle East but also a complete system covering powertrain technology, vehicle development, and full-service support.
Moving forward, LANDKING will continue to build localized operations in Saudi Arabia, offering end-to-end services ranging from purchase consultation and financing solutions to technical support and after-sales service. These efforts will help customers achieve stable and efficient operations even under extreme heat and sandstorm conditions.
LANDKING’s debut in Saudi Arabia marks another significant step in its global development. With a strong product portfolio, a mature worldwide supply chain from the Group, and support from its local partners, LANDKING will continue to bring more efficient and reliable logistics solutions to the Middle East and support the region’s sustainable logistics development.
