Dongfeng Records Strong Start to the Year with Expanding Global Momentum
Dongfeng Motor has entered the new year with solid operational momentum across both domestic and international markets, supported by major deliveries, new facility openings, and fresh commercial orders.
During the Spring Festival holiday period, the company maintained active operations, ensuring continued service for global customers while advancing key business initiatives. Since the resumption of full-scale work, multiple Dongfeng brands have completed large-volume vehicle deliveries, reinforcing what the company describes as a strong start to the year.
Sri Lanka Showroom Opening Strengthens South Asia Presence
On February 17, the first day of the Chinese New Year, Dongfeng Import & Export Corporation and its Sri Lankan partner officially inaugurated a new Dongfeng showroom in Colombo, Sri Lanka, alongside a full commercial vehicle lineup launch.

The facility is currently the largest commercial vehicle 4S dealership in Sri Lanka, marking a significant milestone in Dongfeng’s South Asian market strategy.
More than 500 attendees participated in the event, including government representatives, transport industry association leaders, major fleet customers, and members of the media.
Dongfeng presented its comprehensive commercial vehicle portfolio, covering light-, medium-, and heavy-duty models. During the ceremony, vehicle keys were handed over to key fleet customers, and a purchase agreement for 60 heavy-duty trucks was signed with the local dealer, further expanding regional cooperation.
506 Light Commercial Vehicles Shipped to Colombia
Dongfeng’s overseas light commercial vehicle division also reported progress in Latin America, with 506 light commercial vehicles shipped to Colombia at the beginning of the year.

The order was secured in December last year. To meet delivery deadlines, Dongfeng implemented an integrated coordination mechanism, streamlining processes from order confirmation to final shipment. The delivery cycle was completed nearly one month ahead of the conventional schedule, highlighting improved operational efficiency.

On the same day, Dongfeng Huashen conducted a dispatch ceremony for a batch of emergency firefighting vehicles.

More than 30 high-performance special-purpose vehicles were delivered and will be deployed to border regions and key national emergency response units, strengthening public safety and disaster response capabilities.
