Foton Peru Strengthens Aftermarket Presence at EXPOMECANICA
Foton Peru, together with its key local parts dealer, showcased a full range of engine spare parts at the recent EXPOMECANICA Peru International Auto Parts Expo, highlighting the company’s expanding aftermarket capabilities and long-term commitment to the Peruvian market.
Recognized as one of the leading automotive aftermarket exhibitions on the west coast of South America, this year’s EXPOMECANICA event brought together 234 exhibitors and more than 37,000 professional visitors from across the globe. The exhibition provided Foton Peru with an important platform to strengthen engagement with local customers and increase brand visibility in the region.

Since August 2025, Foton Peru and its local dealer partner have maintained a strategic cooperation focused on the supply and distribution of Foton engine spare parts. Through this partnership, the dealer has become a core partner for Foton’s engine parts business in Peru.
Following the launch of the cooperation, both parties rapidly established a comprehensive spare parts supply system, optimized inventory management, and expanded sales channels across the market. By emphasizing both product quality and customer service, the partnership has been able to respond more effectively to the growing demand for reliable and compatible engine components in Peru’s commercial vehicle sector.

The partnership has also delivered strong business growth. In 2025, the dealer’s purchases of Foton engine spare parts reached USD 800,000, helping establish a stable local customer base. In the first five months of 2026 alone, purchases totaled USD 750,000, representing year-on-year growth of more than 80%. Order volume and market penetration also continued to increase steadily during the period.
According to Foton Peru, the growth reflects increasing recognition of Foton genuine engine parts in the Peruvian market, while also demonstrating the effectiveness of the company’s localized operations and channel development strategy.

At the exhibition, Foton Peru and its dealer partner displayed a range of core engine components, including filters, pistons, crankshafts, and injectors. The company also engaged with customers from logistics, engineering, and passenger transportation sectors to explore further cooperation opportunities and strengthen the market position of Foton genuine parts in Peru.
As part of its broader global expansion strategy, Foton continues to strengthen localized operations across international markets. In Peru, the company is further improving its full-service ecosystem spanning vehicle sales, aftermarket support, and parts distribution. The rapid growth of its local partners reflects Foton Peru’s continued investment in long-term market development and mutually beneficial cooperation.
Looking ahead, Foton Peru plans to deepen collaboration with local dealers by expanding its spare parts portfolio, improving inventory efficiency, and upgrading after-sales services. The company aims to further strengthen its presence in Peru and across the South American aftermarket sector while supporting customers with more efficient and reliable operations.
