Skyworth Auto Secures 1,000-Vehicle Orders on First Day of IAA 2026

Skyworth Auto secured orders for 1,000 commercial vehicles on the first day of IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover.

The show officially opened on September 15. On the first day, Skyworth Auto signed multiple purchase orders and partnership agreements with customers and partners from Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Central Asia.

The agreements cover a range of commercial vehicles and business models, including battery-electric heavy-duty trucks, light trucks, vans and buses, as well as KD parts exports and local assembly.

The orders cover different markets and applications. The battery-electric commercial vehicles are mainly designed for long-haul logistics and urban delivery. The bus projects will support the electrification of public transportation in overseas markets. Skyworth Auto will also supply KD parts for local assembly in some markets.

Covering key international markets, these partnerships reflect strong recognition of Skyworth Auto's product portfolio and technological strength among overseas customers.

The agreements go beyond vehicle supply. They also include after-sales services, remote data management platforms, financing support and local operations.

For Skyworth Auto, the agreements mark a move from exporting vehicles to providing technologies and integrated solutions for customers in international markets.

This is Skyworth Auto’s first appearance at IAA Transportation. Under the theme “New Era Intelligent Ecosystem,” the company is showcasing its latest products and technologies for electric and smart commercial vehicles.

Its technology lineup includes in-house electric powertrain systems, L4 autonomous driving technology, a steer-by-wire chassis and a central computing platform.

The company says these technologies will help it provide customized, smart, digital, and ecosystem-driven mobility solutions for global customers.

IAA Transportation 2026 is currently underway. Skyworth Auto warmly invites global media, partners, and industry peers to visit Booth B32 in Hall 21 at the Hannover Exhibition Center, to explore and witness the new possibilities that intelligent Chinese manufacturing brings to the global commercial vehicle industry.
