WEICHAI to Showcase Diverse Commercial Vehicle Power Solutions at IAA 2026
WEICHAI Power will showcase a wide range of power products and solutions at IAA Transportation 2026, which will take place in Hanover, Germany, from September 14 to 20.
As one of the major events for the global commercial vehicle industry, IAA Transportation provides an important platform for companies to present new technologies and solutions.
At this year’s show, WEICHAI will display products covering conventional powertrains, new-energy powertrains and key electric components. The lineup will cover different technology routes, from low-carbon to zero-carbon power.

Three New Products to Make Global Debut on Media Day
On September 14, WEICHAI will hold a product launch event and globally debut three new products:
NG4.0 gas powertrain
WPH15DI hydrogen internal combustion engine hybrid powertrain
EM300 next-generation underfloor battery for heavy-duty trucks
The three products are designed to meet different customer needs during the transition to zero-carbon transportation and provide more powertrain options for commercial vehicle applications.
The NG4.0 gas powertrain is designed to expand the use of low-carbon power. The WPH15DI combines hydrogen internal combustion engine technology with hybrid power. The EM300 is designed for electric heavy-duty trucks and uses an underfloor battery layout.
18 Exhibits Cover Conventional and New-Energy Technologies
WEICHAI will bring 18 exhibits to the show, covering conventional energy, new-energy power and key electric components.
In the conventional power section, WEICHAI will display high-efficiency diesel engines, a multi-fuel technology platform and NG4.0 series gas engines.
The new-energy section will feature hybrid, range-extender and hydrogen internal combustion engine technologies, showing WEICHAI’s development in green power solutions.
For key electric components, WEICHAI will showcase its next-generation blade cells, underfloor batteries for heavy-duty trucks, fast-charging batteries for light trucks and highly integrated controllers.
These products will highlight WEICHAI's in-house development of batteries, electric motors and electronic control systems for commercial vehicles.
WEICHAI Returns to Hanover to Explore Zero-Carbon Opportunities with Global Partners
WEICHAI first exhibited at IAA Transportation in 2010 and has since returned to the international show several times.

In 2022, WEICHAI showcased its globally exclusive 51.09% thermal-efficiency diesel engine, H-platform powertrains and a range of new-energy products, attracting attention from the global commercial vehicle industry.
In 2024, the company presented its 53.09% thermal-efficiency diesel engine and a 300kW hydrogen fuel cell power system, further highlighting its technologies in high-efficiency conventional and new-energy power.
In 2026, WEICHAI will return to Hanover once again.

From September 14 to 20, global customers, partners and industry professionals can visit WEICHAI at Booth A10 in Halls 19 & 20 at the Hanover Exhibition Center.
The company will showcase its latest power technologies and commercial vehicle solutions and exchange views with global partners on new opportunities in the transition toward zero-carbon transportation.
