DELIVAN Makes Global Debut with a Dedicated Electric Platform
At IAA Transportation 2026, Chery Commercial Vehicles made the first global presentation of its DELIVAN brand and its products and technologies developed for the European market.

Ross Davies, Chief Operating Officer of Chery Commercial Vehicles UK, introduced DELIVAN's electric vans and their positioning in Europe.
Unlike conventional vehicles converted from internal-combustion engines to electric power, DELIVAN was designed as a battery-electric vehicle from the beginning.
Its platform uses a “technology decoupling + modular platform” approach, allowing the same basic architecture to support different vehicle types and professional conversions.
This gives customers more flexibility in vehicle design, interior space and applications.
DELIVAN also uses connected and digital technologies to link vehicles with logistics operations.
The system can support route optimization and remote fleet management, helping small and medium-sized logistics companies improve fleet efficiency and reduce operating costs.
At the event, DELIVAN officially unveiled its lineup, including two base models and four application-specific variants.
The vehicles feature aerodynamic bodies, dedicated electric chassis and flexible body space. They are designed mainly for urban delivery operations in Europe.
The two base models cover different payload and driving-range requirements for common urban delivery applications.
The four converted models are designed for last-mile delivery, fresh-food and cold-chain transport, municipal services, and passenger and business transport.
With its modular platform, DELIVAN can be adapted to different applications, giving European customers more electric vehicle options while helping reduce vehicle purchase and operating costs.
From Vehicles to Energy: A Complete Green Logistics Approach
Beyond urban delivery vehicles, Chery Commercial Vehicles also presented solutions for green transportation and energy management across different logistics applications.
For the heavy-duty truck business, Zhu Hong, Deputy General Manager of Chery Commercial Vehicles and General Manager of United Truck, introduced United Truck's integrated green transportation solution.
The solution is designed for the carbon-neutral needs of non-European transport corridors.
Instead of offering only an electric heavy truck, the solution combines the vehicle, energy supply and intelligent fleet management.
It focuses on driving range, energy replenishment efficiency and total lifecycle costs, while taking into account the requirements of specific transport routes and logistics sites.
The goal is to provide a complete green transportation solution for regional cross-border logistics.
Chery Commercial Vehicles also presented its energy ecosystem solution.
Dr. Yin Hang, head of Chery's green energy ecosystem, said the solution includes three main areas: V2G bidirectional charging, distributed energy storage, and charging infrastructure for logistics sites.
The system allows electric commercial vehicles to become part of the wider energy network instead of being used only as transportation tools.
For logistics operators, vehicle fleets can use different electricity prices during peak and off-peak periods to reduce energy costs. When vehicles are not in use, they can also send electricity back to the grid and generate additional revenue.
Energy storage systems can also work with solar power at logistics sites, helping use more renewable energy and reduce electricity costs.
By combining vehicles with energy systems, Chery Commercial Vehicles is expanding its business beyond vehicle products and into energy operations. The company said this approach can provide additional infrastructure support for the wider use of new-energy commercial vehicles in Europe.
China-Europe Green Logistics Ecosystem Alliance Launched
Chery Commercial Vehicles also used the event to strengthen its local partnerships.
At the launch event, the company and several Chinese and European companies jointly established the China-Europe Green Logistics Ecosystem Alliance.
The alliance brings together companies from different parts of the commercial vehicle industry, including vehicle manufacturing, vehicle conversion, energy services and logistics.
The partners will work together to share technology, market resources and supply-chain capabilities.
They also plan to jointly develop products for the European market, build local service networks and explore new business models.
Several strategic agreements were signed after the alliance was launched.
In the VAN business, Chery Commercial Vehicles signed agreements with several European customers and ecosystem partners. The cooperation covers vehicle purchases, local sales channels and vehicle conversion.
These agreements are expected to support the expansion of DELIVAN in Europe.

Chery Commercial Vehicles also signed agreements with key European conversion partners.
Based on the DELIVAN modular platform, the partners will develop customized vehicles for European applications. Local partners will provide conversion qualifications, market experience and service networks to speed up product deployment.

In the heavy-duty truck business, Zhu Hong and partners and customer representatives completed the delivery of the first customer vehicle for a non-European transport corridor, together with a strategic cooperation agreement.

The delivery marks the move of Chery Commercial Vehicles' green heavy-truck solution from technology demonstration to commercial operation.
18 Products and Solutions Cover Different Logistics Applications
At IAA Transportation 2026, Chery Commercial Vehicles displayed 18 core products and solutions covering cross-border transportation, urban delivery, last-mile logistics and energy services.

In the heavy-duty segment, two United Truck Phoenix models were among the main vehicles on display.
The Phoenix BEV is equipped with a high-performance electric drive axle. It is designed mainly for short- and medium-distance transportation on fixed routes and provides a zero-emission solution for logistics operators.

The Phoenix REEV uses a “large battery + small range extender” system.

It focuses on long driving range, fast energy replenishment and high load capacity. The vehicle is designed for cross-regional transportation, especially on routes where charging infrastructure is still limited.
In urban delivery, the DELIVAN lineup was a major part of the display.

The short-wheelbase low-roof passenger version and the medium-wheelbase high-roof cargo version both use the dedicated electric modular platform. They are designed for urban passenger transport and urban cargo delivery respectively.
Chery Commercial Vehicles also showed a medium-wheelbase high-roof concept conversion vehicle and a chassis-cab model. These vehicles can be adapted for applications such as parcel delivery, cold-chain logistics and municipal services.

For last-mile logistics, Chery Commercial Vehicles presented an autonomous logistics vehicle.
The vehicle uses an automotive-grade chassis, an L4 autonomous driving system, a steer-by-wire chassis and a modular body. It is designed for applications including last-mile delivery, factory logistics and cold-chain transportation.

Chery Commercial Vehicles also presented a broader energy ecosystem at the show.
The green energy section included an SOFC ammonia fuel-cell power generation system, an integrated solar-storage-charging system, V2G DC chargers and a vehicle-grid connection system.

Together, these technologies cover power generation, energy storage, charging and vehicle-grid interaction.
They show how electric commercial vehicles can be connected to a wider urban energy network.
For logistics sites, Chery Commercial Vehicles displayed a battery-swapping station, intelligent forklifts and integrated battery systems for vehicle power and energy storage.
These products are designed to support truck energy replenishment, loading and unloading operations, and energy storage management at logistics sites.
The company also worked with European conversion company GRUAU on a joint display.
Through cooperation with local companies, Chery Commercial Vehicles aims to use local technical expertise and market experience to improve vehicle conversions and adapt its products to different European applications.
From Vehicle Exports to Local Partnerships
At IAA Transportation 2026, Chery Commercial Vehicles presented more than individual vehicles. It showed an integrated approach covering vehicles, technology, energy, conversion and services.
The company is moving from exporting individual products to building a broader ecosystem, and from entering individual markets to developing deeper local operations.
Chery Commercial Vehicles plans to continue investing in new-energy and intelligent vehicle technologies, expand its green logistics product portfolio, and strengthen its global supply chain and local service networks.
By working with European and other global partners, the company aims to expand its new-energy commercial vehicle business and bring more green logistics solutions into real-world operations.
