Foton new Chairman

Beiqi Foton Motor Co Ltd, China's major commercial producer, announced it has elected Xu Heyi as the new chairman of the board from this week.
Xu, 50, took over the position as board chairman of the State-owned Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Co (BAIC) from his predecessor An Qingheng in October. He also replaced An as board chairman of Beijing Benz-DaimlerChrysler Automotive Co Ltd, a joint venture between DaimlerChrysler AG and BAIC.
Including his post as chairman with Beijing Hyundai Motor Co from 2002, Xu has by now been in the saddle of all three of BAIC's auto-manufacturing companies.
