Sinotruk cooperates with Russian ZIL to develop Russian market
Recently, reporter learnt that SINOTRUCK would cooperate with Russian ZIL to establish a truck company aiming to expand Russia and its surrounding market.
Resources say the newly established company HOWO-ZLL will assemble and sale trucks under the brand HOWO in Russia.
According to the agreement between them, at the beginning, HOWO-ZLL will sale HOWO series trucks by ZIL’s sales net..
ZIL is the biggest and earliest Russian Auto maker. It has more than 40 sales agencies and nearly 600 representatives around Russia. At present, ZIL’s major products are light trucks and medium trucks. The resurrection of Russia’s economy leverages heavy duty truck demand in Russia quickly which provides a good opportunity to establish the joint venture.
