Dongfeng exported 9,811 units commercial vehicles in first 9 months
In the first 9 months, Dongfeng Commercial vehicle Company exported 9,811 units commercial vehicles, increased 120% y-o-y, which signals that the company has accomplished its annual export target one season earlier than planned, the company’s newest business report says.
The company’s annual export target in 2009 is to export 9,000 vehicles. By the end of Sep. 2008, the company had exported 9,811 vehicles, which is 109% of its annual target. Of the vehicles exported, the parent company exported 5,369 units increased 147.42% y-o-y Sub Company exported 4,442 units, increased 94.14%.
The company’s newest heavy duty truck Tianlong has become a favorite of Dongfeng’s customers. By the end of Sep. Dongfeng had exported more than 6,000 Tianlong trucks.
The company set up its oversea business department in May 2006. After 2 year’s development, it has established 3 strategic oversea markets and they are Iran, Russia and Vietnam. Due to good sale in Peru, Saudi Arabia, and Algeria, it’s probably that Dongfeng will choose these three markets as its new strategic markets.Views:0
