Sinotruk released net profit in Q3
(chinatrucks.com, Nov. 2, 2009)China Heavy Duty Truck (000951, closing price of 26.15 yuan) has released its net profit in the third quarterly 2009. The achieved operating income of sinotruk by 15.649 billion yuan in the first three quarters, down 8.60% y/y; the net profit attributable to listed shareholders companies by 322 million, down 34.31%; earnings of per share by 0.77 yuan, net assets returns ratio 11.71% .
Among them, the achieved operating income of sinotruk by 4.704 billion yuan from July to September, up 13.09%; the net profit attributable to listed shareholders companies by 110 million, up 136.16 percent y/y.
According to the pre-production and marketing newsletter disclosed that the production in heavy-duty trucks of Sinotruk achieved 17,881 and the sale up to 17,855 in the third quarter. From January to September, the accumulated production of heavy truck by 64,628 units, down 4.29%, total sales of 60,281units, down 13.16 %. But as the economy recovers, it has shown upward trend in the second half month sales. From July to September, sales of heavy trucks were 5,672, 5,903 and 6,280.
