Dongfeng Motor strive to reach 7,000 export target 2009

(chinatrucks.com, Nov. 10, 2009)Because of the continuing impact of the financial crisis this year, China's auto industry overseas export situation is not optimistic.  The Overseas Business Division of Dongfeng held an operation analysis meeting on November 4. In this meeting, they summarized the work in the first three quarter of this year and arranged the work of next phase which ensure to get 6,000 units sales goals and expect to exceed 7,000 units.

　　
It is reported that the export volume has decline 60% compared with last year from January to August this year. The negative impact of the financial crisis is a major factor.

And the exports of Dongfeng have up to 5,041 units in October. Facing the export difficulties, the Overseas Business Department of Dongfeng has requested all departments to strengthen their confidence, seize all the resources and opportunities to strive for order.

At the same time, they pay more attention to spare parts supply and services to ensure achieve full-year 6,000 sales tasks, and strive to achieve the 7,000 export target.
