CNHTC: Adhere to go its own way
(chinatrucks.com, Dec.4, 2009)China National Heavy Truck Company (CNHTC) release its sales report on November 11, its output up to 9,017 units in October 11. The total output and sales reached 103,246 and 106555 units from January to October, which respectively has an increase of 5.31% and 6.85%. Sinotruk has absolutely dominant position in domestic truck industry.
Why does HOWO8×4 dumper so hot in the market
Firstly, the rigidity demand is exist in the market. Secondly, because of the opening built of Lan-Chongqing railway, Qinling Tunnel Engineering and many other highway construction projects in Gansu bring a new round increase of dumper demand in Gansu.
Safety and Lightweight
From the product line of CNHTC, we can easily find that heavy truck products are shifting from the "heavy" to the "light" , which determines the heavy duty tractor were insufficient in the lightweight. Lightweight tractor is bound to be popular in the customers.
About the light weight issue, Yu Youde, deputy general manager of CNHTC said to reporters: "Sinotruk will always focus on the safety of product. To blindly meet the standard of light weight, while largely ignore the safety factors is stupid. We also did a traffic safety accident statistics in some provinces, HOWO series products has a much lower casualty rates than the same products. Even in individual provinces and cities, casualty rate of Sinotruk's vehicle is zero. The fact tells us safety strategy is a right choice, we will never stop trying our own way ".
