Foton rises profit forecast in 2010

(chinatrucks.com, April 15, 2010) Foton has benefited market growing demands of light and heavy trucks in 2010, and the performance elasticity is growing bigger. After Foton Cummins and Foton Daimler JV put into production, industry chain of the company has been improving gradually, and company profit ability is to be increased.

It is predicted that light and heavy trucks will create a new high of first quarter in March, because March is the sales season for light and heavy trucks. Sales volume of heavy truck is over 10,000, and that of light truck is over 60,000.

Structure adjustment is also a factor of sales volume increase for light truck. Proportion of
mid-range light truck, especially Aoling series will be increased. Sales volume of light truck is increased about 20% in 2010, and heavy truck is 17% in 2010.
