Selling price of heavy truck in second quarter to be raised
(chinatrucks.com, April 19,2010) It is learned by reporter that selling price of heavy truck has great possibility to rise, and because raw material price, such as steel, has been risen rapidly, heavy truck enterprise may rise selling price to digest cost, and the range is between 3000 to 5000. etc.
A large state-owned commercial vehicle enterprise said to Shanhai stock paper, selling price of heavy truck is inevasible to rise in first quarter, which will win customers’ understanding and recognition. Sales volume is not going to reduce because of the risen price.
Actually, main heavy truck manufacturer has raised market direction price since January 2010, or narrow the end preferential margin. And it makes selling price has some degree increase. Accumulated raised price for Foton is about 4000 RMB each in first quarter of 2010.
Besides the raised price of raw material, power update of heavy truck and following elevated overall configuration of chassis both will make selling price raised.
