ArvinMeritor to promote new generation air disc brake technology in China
(chinatrucks.com, May 13, 2010) ArvinMeritor has announced on May 5th that a new generation air disc brake technology, ELSA225H2, will be promoted in China.
ELSA225H2 is a heavy duty air disc brake developed by ArvinMeritor, and it is applicable for buses with 22.5 inches rim, and coaches as well as trucks. This air disc brake has adopted ELSA225 series products technology certified by European market. However, it has been accordingly adjusted in accordance with China market reality.
The design and function of this heavy duty air disc brake have the following features. The first one is it could reduce pressure consumption, and the weight is lighter. What’s more, ArvinMeritor has certified MA professional friction block.
ELSA225H2 has provided more flexibility to installation. It also could install in the axle designed and produced by local and the suspension system products, besides the original axle of ArvinMeritor.
