Changsha plant of Foton has promoted Ruiwo ADX

(chinatrucks.com, May 17, 2010) Changsha plant of Foton Auto has promoted Ruiwo ADX and Ruiwo Weichai power products on May 10th, and the two products belong to heavy trucks. 

Although the strategic cooperation agreement has not been signed by now, the promotion of Ruiwo Weichai power products mean that the cooperation of Ruiwo and Weichai power has been started earlier.

Changsha plant of Foton Auto has promoted Ruiwo series products in January and they are the fist products of overseas market. It is disclose the establishment of production base with 100,000 heavy truck capacities. Two heavy truck products promotion means that Changsha plant of Foton Auto has accelerated strategic turning steps.

Foton takes Ruiwo heavy truck as the core business, and at the present, medium and heavy truck market has been keeping rapid growing trend. Medium and heavy truck business have been growing over 50% by same period in southern area from January to April in 2010. And it will become main business of Foton of Changsha plant of Foton.

The capacity of Foton Changsha will reach 200,000 in 2015 according to the plan of Foton Changsha plant, and 100,000 is medium and heavy truck series of Ruiwo. Sales volume of Ruiwo has surpassed 2000 in March and April of 2010. Sales goal of 20,000 will be reached smoothly according to the growing speed.
