Foton invests 450 million euros to establish plant in Weifang
(chinatrucks.com, June 10, 2010) New plant selected by Foton Weifang auto factory is located at Weifang high-tech industry development area. The taken area is about 2000 square meters, and the planned capacity contains 300,000 completely vehicles, and 3000,000 critical auto compressing pieces. And new energy auto occupies 30% of the completed vehicles.
It is learned by reporter that the overall investment of this program is 450 million euros, and it’s planned to be completed at two stages. The first stage from Sep 2010 to Dec 2011has the capacity of 100,000 each year, and the total investment is 150 million euros. The second stage from Mar 2012 to Apr 2013 has the capacity of 200,000 each year. It could satisfy the production of small MPV. The total investment is 300 million euros.
The sales revenue predicts to be 3450 million euros and the profits will be 170 million euros after the program has put into production.
