Foton plans to penetrate European and American market in four years
(chinatrucks.com, June 11, 2010) Foton has announced on June 9th 2010 that it will cooperate with Cummins to introduce ISF series Euro Ⅵ engine technology. Foton auto will promote Aumark and MP-X Euro VI products with Cummins. Commercial vehicle products of Toyota and GM are the main rivals.
Foton has established the plan for penetrating European and American markets in 2014 in advance in accordance with the schedule.
On the basis of Euro IV and Euro V technology, Foton will further optimize the critical components of Euro VI products. Top light truck Aumark, MP-X, and the future medium and top pickup, as well as ultimate SUV, and VAN of Foton will have the capacity to export to Japan, Korea, and Europe ＆ America.
It is learned by reporter that Europe will conduct Euro VI emission standard.
