Dongfeng invests 300 Million Euros to new energy autos
(chinatrucks.com, August 17, 2010) It is disclosed by Dongfeng auto energy saving and new energy development plan that Dongfeng is promoting EV technology development, at the same time, Dongfeng is also conducting traditional engine technology update. Furthermore, Dongfeng Auto is also researching hybrid technology and substitute fuel technology.
Dongfeng Auto has established new energy strategy guide committee on April 2010. Dongfeng Auto is conducting new energy auto planning, technology development and completely vehicle operation.
It is announced by Dongfeng Auto that the inventory of medium and heavy hybrid auto of Dongfeng has reached 100,000, and has realized the production and sales scale with 50,000 EVs. Energy saving and production ＆sales volumes of new energy vehicles have occupied 20% of Dongfeng.
The inventory volume of Dongfeng new energy autos shall be reached 800,000 by 2020.
