Foton Cummins is hitting top light vehicle market
(chinatrucks.com, August 20, 2010) Foton Auto has cooperated with America Cummins recently, and Foton is applying the diesel engine with low emission and energy saving for breaking through Foton Auo Area.
It is planned by Foton Cummins that it will initiate trial production at the middle of 2013, and it will realize batch production at the end of 2013. Aumark of Foton Auto has firstly matched Euro VI engine with total investment of 68 million Euros.
Cummins has announced that Cummins Kama of Russian AV Company has been approved to use Cummins Euro VI Emission technology. Cummins Kama is an AV company established by Cummins engine company and Russia Kamaz Diesel Plant in 2006. with 50% to 50% investments.
The AV company could produce 1000 B series diesel engines with 185~300 horsepower every year. These diesel engines shall be delivered to Russia Kamaz Diesel Plant and other completely vehicle plant in Russia.
