Sinotruk cooperates with MAN for one year
(chinatrucks.com, August 31, 2010) One year ceremony of the cooperation between Sinotruk and MAN is hold in Beijing on August 26th, 2010. The cooperative program is signed on July 2009.
Sinotruk and MAN shall cooperate with two aspects, one is from assets, the other is technology. In terms of assets cooperation, MAN will gain 25%＋1 shares by investment of 56 million Euros to Sinotruk. Sinotruk will hold 51% shares. MAN will transfer TGA completely vehicle technology and technology of engine, axle, parts and components to Sinotruk in accordance with the technology transfer agreement signed by both parties.

Since both parties have signed the agreement, the process of the program is going smoothly. Plants are to be opened and established according to the plan. Most imported high tech equipment has been ordered. Staff training and technology support are fully developed at each aspect. Both parties have reached agreement and gained initial fruit on quality management, procurement, sales and after sales aspects.
