Sinotruk to enter in top three truck enterprises in five years
(chinatrucks.com, Sep 29, 2010) It is disclosed by “Finance Report” on Sep 27th, 2010 that Sinotruk aims to be the top three truck manufacturers in the world in five to ten years. It displays the ambitions of China industry enterprise, becoming the global leader of the truck industry.
Sinotruk has become the global fourth auto manufacturer instead of India Tata auto. At the moment, it is searching for the way to shorten the distance between Daimler and Dongfeng and FAW. Daimler is the largest truck manufacturer in the world. It is disclosed by Sinotruk on Hanover auto exhibition that it will take five to ten years for Sinotruk to become the world top three truck manufacturers.
Sales volumes of Sinotruk in 2009 were 125,000 in accordance with the data of Global Insight. It is the fifth truck manufacturer in the world, and India Tata is the fourth.
At the present, Sinotruk is mainly responsible for the production of medium and heavy trucks. However, the truck products will be expanded to full series commercial vehicles, including light truck and bus.
