Foton expands truck capacities in Changsha
(chinatrucks.com, Oct 13, 2010) Foton has completed the program of increasing 200,000 auto capacities, and it has saved one year construction working period for this program. The program contains 100,000 medium and heavy trucks, and 100,000 light trucks production volumes. The overall investment amounts to 320 million Euros.
Foton Changsha Auto plant has kept continues high growing speed since it has been launched in Changsha Jingkai area. It is predicted that the Changsha plant will realize the production and sales volumes of 110,000, and the sales revenue will reach 600 million Euros.
Foton will invest 100 million Euros in Changsha in accordance with the plan. It will establish 100,000 medium and heavy trucks program. The working team in Changsha Jingkai area and Changsha committee will actively promote the prior construction of the program. The support from all aspect make Foton Changsha plant has got more than 1 billion Euros in 2 years, which will become the largest commercial vehicle production base in Southern area.
