Sinotruk to expand product line
(chinatrucks.com, Oct 22, 2010) Sinotruk is not satisfying with the advantage in heavy truck field, and it attempts to make up the shortages of itself, and stepped to full series commercial vehicle production enterprise by the recent series restructure and cooperation.
From Iune 20th, the first time for Sinotruk meet Chengdu Wangpai, to August 23th, both parties have signed the cooperative agreements, the cooperation progress of Sinotruk and Chengdu Wangpai has got break through in only 100 days.
“Sinotruk Group Chengdu Wangpai Commercial Vehicle Company Limited” established by Sinotruk and Chengdu Wangpai with both assets have been set up in Chengdu. It is displaying the active layout of Sinotruk to expand industry chain to develop medium and light truck.
It is learned by reporter that the both parties will fully take advantage of individual resources by the introduction of advanced heavy and medium truck and technology. At the same time, it has also improved the current mature products in Chengdu Wangpai.
It aims to establish high, medium and low end products line and industry chain. It will initiate the program with 100,000 medium and heavy truck programs in 2011. It will make great efforts to realize the goal of 100,000 medium and heavy truck and 300,000 light and mini truck by 2015.
