Dongfeng to establish plant in South Africa and Turkey
(chinatrucks.com, Oct 29, 2010) Mathews Chikankheni，the commercial committee president of Eastern and Southern Africa, has initially visited in Wuhan on Oct 27th, 2010. China-Africa business exchange conference is hold in Wuhan, and the attending companies include Dongfeng Auto, Dongfeng Design Institute, Wuhan Kaidi Shares Control, Hubei Huagong Heavy duty Company, etc, and more than 20 Companies in Wuhan have taken part in the exchange conference.
The conference representative of Dongfeng Auto Company has disclosed to the reporter that they have noticed the huge business opportunity in Africa, and aims to explore export business of commercial vehicles in Africa. At the same time, Dongfeng is also visiting South Africa and Turkey, etc. It is predicted that Dongfeng will invest to set up plants in the local.
